Randy lives in Wyoming, by the Green River. He has attended a number of Federation of Fly Fisher's Conclaves in different locations of the US and was invited to tie starting with the International Conclave in Kalispell, MT. Randy has never been afraid to try new materials and techniques in his tying, and does not mind sharing his experience with other fly fishers. He has been published a number of times in the Fly Fisher. Randy has started teaching a class on Fly Fishing at the Community College in Rock Springs, WY that includes tying techniques, fly selection, reading the water, casting and field trips. With help on the curriculum from educator, author, coach, and angler Joe Humphreys, Randy delivers a first rate program.
